A companion event to the exhibition SECRET·STORY·FAIRYTALE
ONLY AVAILABLE IN HUNGARIAN!
What might the Pesti Vigadó have been like more than 150 years ago, who visited its halls, and how did they spend their time here? Children aged 7–13 are invited on a playful journey through time to discover the history of the Pesti Vigadó and the world of the 19th century.
The session is guided by the tale of Tündérszép Ilona and Árgyélus, helping participants explore the building’s past step by step. They will discover what kind of people once visited the Vigadó, what events took place within its walls, and how guests spent their time here on special occasions. The stories are accompanied by music, arts and crafts, and playful building-exploration activities, allowing the children to become active participants rather than simply listeners.
The varied activities engage their imagination, creativity and curiosity, while bringing the history of the Vigadó and everyday life in the 19th century closer to them.
The session is led by architect Lili Kovács.
