Event of the 13th Open House - Festive Day of Arts
In art therapy sessions, children develop their self-expression through creative activities. They can explore their inner emotional world, recognize and strengthen their inner resources—which over time can become sources of personal resilience—and receive support, attentive listening, and new perspectives from the group.
Art therapy is not just another form of development that adds further strain to children who are often already overloaded. These sessions provide a calm, safe environment where artistic tools create opportunities for recreation and relaxation. No drawing or painting skills are required. There is no evaluation, and it is impossible to “underperform.”
Every stage of the session gently guides participants from the realm of thoughts toward their emotional world. Through preparation and the creative process, an authentic inner image emerges on paper, often leading to a cathartic experience. The resulting artwork—born from personal expression—always speaks to and for its creator, supporting self-reflection.
